So can I use it like patient, or this is service only for doctors?

Need to be in medical field to use.

Downloaded the app, made the registration and now I received an email saying Im not authorized to use it.

Could not obtain any information from this app.

People in the medical profession have long thought that patients are idiots. For the vast majority of us, we are completely capable of learning chemistry, anatomy, or pathology, but we didn’t have the financial privilege of that level of education. Give us the tools to educate and advocate for ourselves. Without research on the patient’s end, it takes years for doctors to diagnose, if ever. Make this app available to the masses. It could help patients get treatment sooner or potentially save lives. Power to the people!

I understand why the developers do not want patients to teach the AI. However, this product holds so much promise for those who are on the disorder diagnose journey. I know It does not give a diagnosis. It does give a direction to the journey and something to use to talk to physicians.

Such a wonderful app to exist, however it doesn’t do patients any good. I would be willing to bet that my daughter’s medical team would laugh me out of the office if I asked them to download an app to scan her face for a genetic diagnosis. If this app has any chance at becoming a benefit to the medical community it would be wise to allow parents to use it. We could then research the app’s suggested diagnosis prior to seeing the doctor and go into the next appointment ready to discuss our findings.

Not everyone in America can afford to see a doctor to get permission to use an app. Of course nobody is going to diagnose themselves with just an app. But if it helps confirm a suspicion, it can help them to seek care without dozens of doctor’s appointments. I have a rare genetic condition that was misdiagnosed for 20 years and had I had something that could’ve given me an idea of what to ask my doctor, I wouldn’t be disabled now.

A a parent with a special needs child I was interested to see if this would actually be helpful, and provide the correct syndrome but this app is how old and still not available to the public….. shame !!!! Parents also to countless hours of research on helping their children and if your app truly worked a parent could also point a doctor in a direction they haven’t gone down.

Parents desperately need to be able to use this app! We search for years for answers as to why our children have medical issues/disabilities/need physical and occupational therapy! We only see a geneticist once a year who might do one or two tests with no answers! We need this app to be able to take to our genetics drs to help them help us get answers!!! Please open it up to parents!!!!

With the lack of access to geneticists on site, as a genetic counselor this tool is greatly appreciated to give a sense of direction in mystery cases. As for the people complaining about it not being accessible...there are patient photos on here, no professional would submit cases or feedback if they knew the public was on here. If you’re a parent concerned for your child, please take them to a doctor.

Received that I was deactivated from this app after many times trying to put my correct email and correct password but receiving that one or both were not correct? I tried each time to send for correction according to such messages but saying no internet connection??!! Hope to send me your advice via my email. Thanks

TAKE YOUR CHILD TO A DOCTOR If you are complaining that this app is only for doctors then you obviously haven't gone to one! If you really want to know what the app says GO TO A DOCTOR and ask them to use it! All the angry mom's are exactly the reason this is only for health professionals only. it helps doctors determine which generic condition after they determine there is one. Letting anyone use it would create false positives. I give this app 5 stars for preventing science deniers who have "done their research" from having another thing to justify dangerous alternative "medicine" and "treatments.

I see a lot of complaints on here because this app is only available for healthcare providers. It’s a search and reference tool! If you want access to the info, ask your doctor!

Sad that the parents, who are the ones doing the hours upon hours of research to find answers, are not included in this. Like most, we can only afford to see a geneticist once a year, only to be disappointed with a negative result each time. This could help parents do the research at home to bring to the geneticist attention for testing. I can guarantee a parent searching for answers will make more use of this app than any Dr. has time to do. MAKE THIS APP FOR THE PUBLIC or at least parents with special needs children.

Just saw an article about this app and had to check it out as a mom. I worry a lot I would actually think I’m a doctor by using this app. Stupid app because it can only be used if you work in the medical field. Stupid stupid stupid and a waste of my time!

Why can we look up our symptoms online for things and with this you have to be a medical professional? Why can’t the user just agree to not use it as medical advice and agree that you are aware it will not diagnose or treat anything??

Am I going to pretend to be a medical professional and diagnose people?? What's the worst that could happen, I ask my actual health professional about something. Aghast! I am a student and would find this interesting... but oh well.

Very wonderful and helpful app. Thoroughly and accurately covers a broad variety.

I am trying to use this on an iPhone 6 with the most current iOS. Cannot even sign up either directly OR through Doximity. Software is flawed in that after the first few entries of name and password it asks for more entries but does not provide the keyboard. Completely useless if it were possible to rate it NO stars I'd have done that.
